We have two clear refund rules, depending on what you bought.
For workbook PDFs, your eligibility ends the moment any PDF in the order is opened online (this counts as using the materials). After that, the PDF purchase is non-refundable. This rule is shown to you again at checkout, before you pay, so there is no surprise.
The online subscription renews automatically each month. You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals (see our Terms of Service). Each subscription charge — including a renewal — is covered by the 7-day no-questions refund from that charge date. Canceling on its own does not trigger a refund.
The 7-day no-questions refund is a one-time courtesy. Because it is “no questions asked,” taking it closes your relationship with us, so when you request it through your account settings:
If you subscribe again with the same email and request the no-questions refund a second time, we honor it — but that is the last one: after a second refund, that email address can no longer be used to create or access a Garden Heights account. A third request from the same email is not granted automatically; it must be reviewed individually and may be declined. None of this limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have (section 8).
Sign in and open Account & Settings. If you are within your 7-day window and have not used this refund before, you’ll see a Refund & close account button. You will be asked to confirm that you understand the refund closes your account and deletes your records; once you confirm, the refund and closure are processed automatically. Refunds are issued through our payment provider and may take a few business days to appear. If anything goes wrong, email [email protected].
Every account includes designated complimentary materials (currently the Matilda workbook) as a gift, so there is nothing to refund for them.
The no-questions refund is meant to make trying Garden Heights risk-free, not to provide repeated free access. Signing up, using the materials, and refunding on a recurring basis — including by creating new accounts to evade the one-time limit — is abuse of this policy, and we may decline refunds and restrict access in those cases.
If you are a consumer, this policy does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law. In the Republic of Korea, the right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content may not apply once provision of that content has begun (for example, once a PDF is opened) where permitted by law. Where mandatory consumer-protection rules give you stronger rights, those rules apply.
